RLB CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANTS ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT OF PRINCIPAL COLLEEN GALLAGHER AFTER NEARLY TWO DECADES OF SERVICE
Guelph, Ontario – May 30, 2025 – RLB Chartered Professional Accountants, a leading accounting and advisory firm, announced that Colleen Gallagher, CPA, Principal and Not-for-Profit specialist, will retire effective May 2025, after nearly 20 years of dedicated service to the firm and its clients.
Throughout her distinguished career at RLB, Colleen has been instrumental in developing the firm’s Not-for-Profit practice, where her expertise and commitment have set industry standards.
“Colleen’s contributions to RLB extend far beyond her professional accomplishments,” said Murray Short, Partner and leader of RLB’s Not-for-Profit practice. “Her willingness to share knowledge, dedication to mentoring colleagues, and her ability to build lasting client relationships will have a lasting impact on our firm.”
Additionally, her role at RLB included leading the implementation of new accounting and auditing standards as well as developing firm resources to do so. Due to this interest in quality control and standards, Colleen is a part-time practice inspector with CPA Ontario. Her expertise in accounting and assurance standards has helped develop countless professionals within the organization.
Known for building exceptional client relationships characterized by trust and the highest level of service, Colleen leaves behind a legacy of excellence and professionalism that will continue to influence the firm’s approach to client service.
In retirement, Colleen plans to pursue her passion for travel, cheer on her beloved Toronto Blue Jays, and enjoy spending more time with her grandchildren.
